How Long Does Msi Rma Take

1. Hey all,

   Yesterday I sent my R9-290 Gaming 4G back to MSI for RMA. I've tried to contact their support to merely gauge an average return fourth dimension, but no avail.

   Does anyone accept any history with MSI RMA? Is there any estimate for how long it takes? Information technology shouldn't take longer than iii-4 days to go downward to Sydney from the Gold Coast - and I assume it'southward just a quick replacement of the card, and and then send it back on the manner. Could I expect it late next week?

2. I've sent multiple cards to MSI in the past, and it'south never taken more than iii working days for me to have a replacement in my hands

   I've never actually done an RMA earlier - they literally only accept out my menu, and put in a brand new one and send it dorsum?

4. Depends what the outcome is I judge!

   One card had ringlet while (actually badly).
   Some other had a faulty fan.
   The final didn't work in SLI.

   Each fourth dimension, I had a bill of fare actually quickly. Hope it's the aforementioned for yous

5. Last fourth dimension i got my rma canonical... drove to their address and got an instant swap.

6. But confirming my RMA with MSI. After sending the packet on Monday, it arrived at MSI warehouse yesterday at 11am (according to tracking) - replacement card is already onboard a truck, on it's way to my door every bit of 8am this morning.
   I alive at the Gold Coast, MSI warehouse is in Sydney.

   I am throughly impressed with MSI's RMA service.

7. When I had to render msi boards I recall they really weren't likewise bad for turnaround times

8. took 5 weeks for a 6 month former 780. won't buy msi once more

9. Why? Stuff does happen sometimes. I don't think I'd totally discount a company from all future purposes just because of one incident like this.

10. Could be worse. I RMA'd a Gigabyte 750Ti April 21st.

    The guy at Umart told me 'shouldn't take long, they are literally around the corner from hither.. a week or so max just shouldn't be more than a day or two' ..

    Got an email on the 22nd

    "Your warranty render for "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC Depression Contour 2GB Vid" are on the processing now, Your warranty return number(RA) is xxxxx, please quote this RA number for any enquire."

    Got an electronic mail on the 30th

    "Your faulty product has been sent to our aqueduct partner to do the warranty for you. The usual turnaround time is 14 -21 days.You lot will be advised by email as before long every bit information technology is ready for collection."

    Might requite them a telephone call on Monday

11. Effort WD. You lot have to send the thing back to Malaysia or Thailand or wherever they fabricated it. Even if you can get them to encompass the toll, it takes a few weeks.

13. lol waited 4 months for Umart to tell me a Z77 Extreme 4 was dead a couple years dorsum.. then they couldn't replace it because Z77 was EOL and tried to sell me a B85 to supervene upon information technology with lmao..

    Nah i'grand just pissed considering the guy told me Gigabyte were but around the corner and information technology should only accept a couple days.
